It’s July and we havent written a blog for a long while. Not because we dont like writing about marquees but because we have been rather busy putting them up and taking them down. And here we are are in the middle of ‘wedding season’. This week alone we have 5 weddings going out. Last week we did a large wedding in Tilbury. See the comments below from the mother of the bride.
“I would like to thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. The marquees were perfect for what we wanted. The reception marquee on the lawn worked well and was especially useful for our Saturday ‘thank you ‘ lunch party, giving shade but letting the garden in without the sides. The larger marquee on the tennis court was perfect for the wedding breakfast and dancing.
Everything worked seamlessly, lights, sound systems, access to loos, service tent and stage for the band. I am really grateful because when there are so many guests to look after I was relieved not to be involved with electrics, plumbing, and directing staff – it was easy.
Nigel and Simon were both a great support dealing with queries and my ‘snagging’ list efficiently or with alternative suggestions. I was also impressed with the speed everyone worked setting up and removing everything.”
