We are often asked “Can I really fit a marquee in my garden ?”. The answer is usually “yes”. To be honest I am struggling to think of a time when we were unable to come up with a plan.
Over the years we have erected marquees in almost every conceivable place and location. Only last week we did a small clearspan tent in the back garden of a house in Chelmsford, Essex for a 40th birthday party. The marquee was butted up against the back door which opened on to a small patio. The garden was just under 7 metres wide and the marquee 6 by 9 metres. We provided a sub floor with carpet, a black and white check dance floor with starcloth. It was a great. Everyone agreed that the marquee when up looks so much bigger than their garden.
In fact it is almost always the case that customers remark how much more space there appears to be inside the marquee once it is erected. It is a little looking at the footings of a house. They look small but once you walk in to the finished house the rooms look and feel bigger than you imagined.
As a traditional marquee requires a larger ground space they can be more difficult to position next to a building but by using a clearspan or frame marquee we can often offer a couple of suggestions. There is usually more than one way to put up a tent.. BSW has a large range of all marquee types. All our marquees are manufactured on site at our depot in Braintree, Essex. As such we are able to ensure all our marquees and canvas tents are in good order.
We give honest advice and tell people what is or isn’t possible. We never mind visiting a site, even if we do not end up supplying a marquee. Contact us now for a discussion about what you have in mind.
